what a lovely way to spend such a milestone...sin city with my bestest. i could welcome 30, at least, 10 more times if it would promise to be just like this. shoot me for not doing the proper research but one of those quotes "out there" (ahem...on the internet) says something about not realizing you're making memories until after the moment's passed and tadaa! there you've got it... a memory!...and how we miss them so, once they've passed (sniff, sniff...tear). this one was, surely, for the books and a fancy little blur of a weekend that i shall cherish dearly, it dances with my plenty of other little daffodils!
shame on me for often forgetting just how grand this little ol' life is; cheers to the palazzo for being so beautiful and thus making us feel so italian and fancy and gorgeous (although that could've been the gold sequins and black lace, who can tell?!), cheers to the cut for being so absolutely yummy, salud to my brotha from another mother (that mother, namely, mrs. sharon friddle) who without i'd surely have been the only depressed person in vegas and who also without i might have made the beatles love show but most definitely who without i wouldn't be able to say we partied in true vegas fashion, cheers to jason and his calming presence and good-hearted smile, and l'chaim to my dearest adam, my partner in crime and my obsession. hope we'll be drinking to this one for a while...a grand weekend!
Ha! Yes, true Vegas fashion, let's call it that.;) what a weekend it was. And now I get emails from marquee, those racists bastards. Cheers to them! Cheers to starkeisha for making my eyes so shiny. Cheers to lady gaga for suffering through the heat for our entertainment. Cheers to all day t-Tuesday for the boy, and lost wallets. Cheers to free, our love.;) and, last but surely not least, cheers to you, nans, for the weekend that will never be forgotten. Happy 30!
