saturday warm welcomes <3. lovely kenna and her keen eye to detail (i suppose the only logical explanation for a freshly pressed stack of singles is that one is engaging in a widely frowned upon profession to fund herself through college or in this situation probably support her shopping addictions). reese's peanut butter eggs. making new friends, cipp & chantal :) . childish pranks with the car remote key, sheesh! kids will do the darndest things for a good laugh. shelley...good 'ol shelley...bless her heart. the gracie's bathroom. oh, and the mcdonald's drive-thru, thou shall not forget the mcdonald's drive-thru (i will not let you forget the scene at the mcdonald's drive-thru, and believe me neither will adam).

sunday melted mints. my life is like a fart (parents, please know what your children are watching on the tv, i mean seriously). pizza=morning-after-breakfast. madden "how long is mom gonna be gone today" me "i don't think that long" madden "not as long as yesterday right", what a beautiful thing to be so wanted and loved. owning that mountain at brighton, had we been on a skiing/snowboarding team at hchs, we'd surely have earned our varsity letters for such a display of motivation and effort, oh, and skill of course. reese's peanut butter eggs. a graciously loaned pair of comfy and gorgeous steve madden boots (you know where to send them if you ever want to be rid of them).

monday walking dizzy and hurting eye sockets. the unforgettable canyons. reese's peanut butter eggs. <3 deann, my long lost pen pal. max "mom, where did ummm go?" (ummm=adam). i'm just horrible at goodbyes :'(

alas, it had to end but that's my story and so let it be a most informal documentation of our memorable events that weekend, thus if my memory should fail me, this will not ;)

the yankees are coming....

i can hardly contain myself! we're down to 4 days until that little sunshine of mine and i make our way out west to see our favorite family that side of the mississippi, i guess i should speak for myself cause i'm certain boy is more excited to board those beautiful utah canyons. it's been a long time in the making this trip and i just know those few days will hardly be enough to get my fill but i'll take what i can get. i hope i get a chance to make my way out to target or hobby lobby (hint, hint starr). oh and i do also hope that we can squeeze out a 4th birthday party for max while we're at it causing all sorts of ruckus in herriman (hint, hint starr)...happy birthday max!

who'd of thought that 15 years ago when i met this crazy little blonde that she'd become such a big part of my life. fifteen, and life before we knew who we were gonna be ;) not another face flashes through my mind faster when i'm in need of someone, little starr wears so many hats for me and i am forever grateful for such a blessing. people go a lifetime without finding a true friend or knowing the meaning of such a bond. what would i have become had i not had her to make all the mistakes before me in high school? what would i be without our daily phone therapy? not to mention the darndest things her little children say ;) oh the contribution you and markus have given to the face of tomorrow, i must say starr, i couldn't have done better myself, for what is a world without laughter!
thank God and thank sharon and ken for my wonderful little you, my beautiful sister soul :) and thank you for knowing and being and hoping with me as well as laughing and crying and smiling with me and for gossiping and complaining, minimally of course, don't we girls need that too! happy birthday to my very dearest and bestest amiga! today is your day and we'll celebrate that sweet little quirky and carefree heart of yours, what would this world...what would my world be without it?!

here's to yesterday

hello new year, goodbye yester year, and as i've been rounding up some of these scraps for something i'm putting together for my adam...i'm inclined to share some of the moments and smiles and laughs that have made up the best of 2011, although the funnest and craziest we'll keep between we two and well...a selected few ;) , and as for the bad times, i'll do my best to let those go.

very very...extraordinary

i can honestly say i have been blessed, well that and the fact that most things just don't go unnoticed with this girl, but talk about having the right people around you at the right time. how do you show gratitude to those that save you? i don't think you truly can, that's pretty priceless but as for this ike to my tina ;) it's okay 90% of the time he's more the john to my yoko...he's pretty special and that too is priceless.
